sales:competitive-intelligence
Research competitors and build interactive battlecards.
Produces structured competitive intelligence — how competitors position themselves, what claims they make, where they are strong, where they are vulnerable, and exactly how to counter their pitch in a live sales conversation. Output is formatted as a battlecard: quick to read, easy to reference mid-call.
EverClean example
sales:competitive-intelligence
Our product: EverClean — double-wide luxury dishwasher, $3,500–$5,000.
Two independent cavities eliminate the need to empty dishes into
overhead cupboards. Strong design statement for open-plan kitchens.
Pre-production, limited install base, 2-year warranty,
service network still expanding in select markets.
Competitors to research:
- Miele G 7000 Series (primary — most common competitor in luxury segment)
- Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer DD60 (secondary — multi-drawer concept,
closest functional analogy to our dual-cavity design)
- Bosch 800 Series (tertiary — most mentioned by homeowners doing research)
Battlecard format: one card per competitor with:
- How they position themselves
- Their 3 strongest claims
- Their 3 biggest weaknesses relative to EverClean
- The objection we hear most when a prospect mentions them
- Our best response to that objection (2–3 sentences, conversational)
- One thing to never say when they come up
What you’ll get: Three one-page battlecards — one per competitor — structured for fast reference during a showroom conversation. Each card includes the competitor’s positioning in their own language, the specific objection EverClean is most likely to face (e.g., “But Miele has a 30-year reputation”), and a tested conversational counter that acknowledges the competitor respectfully before pivoting to EverClean’s architectural differentiation.
Useful follow-up prompts
- “Brendan at Stonehaven asked why he should switch from Miele when his clients already trust it — give me the best 3-sentence response.”
- “Fisher & Paykel’s DishDrawer is the closest thing to our dual-cavity concept. What’s the clearest way to explain why EverClean is different — not just better?”
- “Add a fourth card for Sub-Zero — we’re starting to hear them mentioned in the ultra-luxury segment.”
